But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

My hero(s) Only My Favorite Baseball Player EVER Aw, Larry Walker, how I love thee. *Historical Note: Larry Walker and I broke our collarbones at the same time! Just like Ed McCaffrey broke his leg the same time I broke mine! A fan of Colorado sports? Better hope I don't get injured again! I CAN'T BELIEVE LARRY WALKER HAS RETIRED The Schedule

I biked home in a delightfully weaving manner, smelling the sweet scent of the Bay on the constant breeze. You might think that as a person who grew up in an extremely arid state that humidity would bother me more. But during my life the only quality time I've ever spent in a humid place is when we would go to Ocean City, Maryland, to the beach. In my mind these particular qualities of the air are associated intimately with boogie boards, Oreos, putt-putt golf, fudge, multi-colored citrus gummies, The Food Lion, random movies at the little multi-plex, J-R's Ribs, and the soft tinkling sound of the roving ice-cream truck. That is, they are associated with Zanzibar's vision of paradise on earth. So while everyone else in Rhode Island is grumbling a little bit about the coming of the humid air, I can't help but feel as if I am constantly on vacation. 3 Comments. I'd actually rather take the humid heat than the dry heat. Its a little easier to breathe in and there's actual moisture in the air. haha, I remember Food Lion, but the ice cream truck out here is extremely loud. oh well. you talking about that is making me wish I was back home {florida} » LostSoul13 on 2007-07-10 05:43:37 You dont feel suffocated by the heat? I guess you get use to it. I think if you are use to one thing you long for the other. I grew up in humidity and I prefer the air dry. :) Go figure... :) » KKama67 on 2007-07-10 06:25:34 Did you ever see Natl Lampoon's vacation flicks? Yeah, me either. » Dilated on 2007-07-10 07:58:05
